1950s American Black With Gold Thread Quilted Full Skirt Size Small
A really cute American skit dating from the 1950s.
Appears handmade. No labels.
Made from a quilted black medium weight fabric with a sheen to it. Covered all over with a metallic Gold thread design.
Full circle or almost full circle with high waist with button fasten and metal zip.
There’s a extra piece of velvet machine sewn to the edge of the buttons maybe to make the waist band bigger ? It add quite a nice feature so i’ve left it but you might prefer to remove it.
In good wearable condition but does have some minor flaws. The inside fleece type of lining shows areas of wear and patchiness just on the lining and doesn’t show through. There is a small repair on the back near them hem and a tiny hole on the waist band.
