It all started…

When i was a little girl, i spent a lot of time at my grandparents house. I would love to sit on my grandmothers knee watching old movies together.

I would often sneak into her Art Deco bedroom and play dress up trying on my grandmothers collection of glamorous 1950s ballroom dancing dresses and sparkly dance shoes. Not forgetting the draws full of glittering costume jewellery, it was a real treasure trove, I pretended to be Ginger Rogers!

My Passion for the glamour of Vintage Fashion had began.

I first started selling Vintage Handbags and Costume Jewellery on a stall at Antique Fairs mainly in the North of England during the early 2000’s. A few years later i opened a small unit at the Montpellier Mews Antiques market in the pretty Spa Town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire. Our bigger shop was located next door to the Antiques Market on the first floor.

My hobby grew into a small business and i was completely hooked on buying and selling Vintage Clothing and Accessories particularly from the Old Hollywood Eras, the 1940s and early 1950s which i loved so much as a little girl.

Sadly our bricks and mortar shop in Harrogate closed in July 2023. However the good news is we sell Online via the Web shop and at Vintage and Antique Fairs around Yorkshire! We stock a carefully curated collection of wonderful original handpicked pieces which are sourced mainly from the USA and the UK
