1940s American Burgundy Crepe Dress with Floral Beading B42 W32 H40
A beautiful American dress dating from the 1940s.
Label - none.
Made from a heavier weight crepe fabric in a burgundy shade.
Features high rounded neckline with shoulder pads.
Bellow the elbow sleeves.
The front is decorated with a floral beading design in black.
Fitted waist with an Aline shaped skirt.
The back has a flared panel.
Metal side zip and fastens behind the neck with a hook and eye.
CONDITION
Good wearable condition but has minor flaws. There are overall light marks and also small water marks from when I've steamed it. Missing small areas on beading not particularly noticeable. Tiny amount of loose stitching on the back seams. see last Pics.
