1940s American Light Brown Gabardine Wool Day Dress

A beautiful American dress dating from the late 1940s era.

Made from a medium weight gabardine wool fabric possibly a blend in a light brown.

Features V neckline with small collar buttons down the front to the waist. One button is a replacement.

There is a beaded and faux pearl embellishment to one shoulder.

Fitted waist with a metal side zip.

Belt loops but missing belt.

Large side pockets with pointed detail.

3/4 length sleeves with pointed edges to match the pockets.

Skirt is slightly Aline shaped.

In good condition. The seam near the back split has been repaired. See pic.
