Pretty American Patio Skirt and blouse set dating from the 1950s.
Appears professionally made but has no makers labels.

Made from a medium weight soft to the touch cotton fabric in a very pale pink colour.
Blouse has V neckline with small pink plastic buttons down the front. turned back cuffs and lame silver coloured trim down the front and across the back.
The skirt is full circle in a gathered and tier design.
Side opening with hook and eye and press stud fastening. There is a 3” extension you can move the fasteners too to make the waist bigger.
Sliver lame trim around the skirt.
In very good conditon. the hem/edge of the blouse has been pinked and left raw that’s generally how these are made and finished.
