1940s American Teal Blue Full Length Beaded Evening Gown B38 W30
A fabulous American evening gown dating from the 1940s.
Label - none
Made from a medium weight crepe fabric in a teal blue colour.
Features V neckline which is gathered on one side and has sewn beading decoration in gold and blue.
Short sleeves and fitted waist.
Belt loops but missing belt.
The hip has matching beading on one side and has three pleats bellow.
The skirt flares at the bottom.
Metal side zip.
In good wearable condition however has a few flaws. There is slight varying colour change throughout in a pinky hue. There are several light surface marks. A small pin hole on the bust. Seam repair at the waist. Marks at the neckline.
