Early 1940s Brown Crepe Pleat Dress
Fabulous day dress dating from the early 1940s.
Made from a medium to heavier weight crepe fabric.
Features high neckline with thick textured cream collar with a lame thread.
covered buttons at the back.
The bodice has small pencil or knife pleats on both the front and back. These go down the front and back of the skirt. The skirt skims across the hips and then flares towards the hem in an Aline shape.
Side zipper.
In very good condition. There is the lightest slightly orangey mark on the front if you look really closely. My flash picks it up more than in real life.
Would be best suit a size 8/10 UK
