1940s American Navy Crepe Dress With Large Bow Detail Bust 36/38” Waist 30”
A fabulous American dress dating from the 1940s.
Labels - none handmade.
Made from a medium weight rayon crepe fabric in navy blue.
Features Low V neckline ( a modern Velcro attachment has been added to make it less revealing, but can easily be removed). Small collar with silk cream with blue tear drop shapes. Matches a large hip bow at one side.
Gathered waist and Aline skirt.
Metal side zip.
In good condition but has an area on the cream silk which is quite a big area of light rust coloured marks. Blends in fairly well and isn’t super obvious. Large area near the hem which is slightly different shade of blue. Again not particularly obvious.
Priced accordingly.
